Retreat Estate Organics (REO) is located at Yercaud, Salem District, Tamil Nadu. Shevaroyhills Tribal Development Institute (STDi) of the Retreat- Don Bosco, Yercaud has opened it to serve as the outlet for the products produced by the tribals of Shevaroyhills. It procures produces from the tribal farmers directly and creates marketing space for them. Similarly, it encourages the tribal community to propagate varieties of plants and directly market them to REO Nursery cooperative. Thus, it provides alternative livelihood and also the possibility for higher household income. We ensure and promise that our products are procured from the tribal farmers and no middlemenare involved in this process. The products are procured at the retail price to give advantage of eliminating middlemen commission to safeguard the interests of the poor farmers and guarantee additional income advantage.
