Veeralur
VEERALUR –Rural Community Development
Veeralur is a small village located at the East of the Thiruvannamalai District in Tamil Nadu, South India. It is one of the 150 villages of the Kalasapakkam Union of PolurTaluk. This village is surrounded by hills all around. 520 children are provided home-based care.
The centre is active with social ministry across 12 villages surrounding Veeralur. The Women Self Help Groups are operated to its maximum capacity. There is also a girl’s home that benefits 25 girls who need better care to continue their education and have better health.
