Thirukalukundram – Gypsies Rehabilitation Programme
Thirukalukundram is situated 70 kilometres from Chennai and 30 Kilometers from Mahabalipuram, a well known tourist centre in the East Coast.
This is an unique project of rehabilitation for the gypsies that provides housing, sanitation, crèche for 35 children and evening study centre with 50 school going children. The young people are also reached out through employment and technical training opportunities.
