KADAMBUR– Tribal Welfare
Kadamburis situated in the Kadambur hills in Erode district, Tamil Nadu.
Hostel facility is provided for the children to complete their school education as the tribal populationlive in inaccessible situations. It accommodates 43 boys and 40 girls who are pursuing their schooling in the campus. The mission also has 6 night study centres whichcaters to 150 tribal poor children in the surrounding villages of Kadambur provided with 6 tutors and a few volunteers.
The children in the residential care are provided with shelter, healthy food, care & protection. The night study centres act as a bridge to get these children in the mainstream education or else they drop easily.This timely intervention has tremendously contributed to the education of these days that had a high rate of illiteracy and drop-outs.
