CUDDALORE – Rural Integral Technical Education & Community Development for Tsunami Affected
It is situated in Alapakkam in Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu. The institute came to existence after Tsunami to reach out to the affected people in the area. This mission offers Residential and Non Residential program for the children and youth of fisher folk community. The hostel accommodates 153 technical and 50 Non formal technical education students. 400 children are supported through 16 night study centres. There are also Women Empowerment Associations.
