“Adivaram” – Salem
There are around 50 children are accommodated who were found on the street. They are aged between 4 and 10.
Need-based weekend animation, games to kindle the creativity among children and youth, entertainment to cherish their childhood, folk-arts training and summer camps are regularly organized. Capacity building and life-skill trainings for children and staffs as ToTs are also conducted.
The centre being at the foot of the hills serves as a camp site for the street children and young people from Namakkal, Salem, Nilavarapatti, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tirupur.
