PEACE RALLY @ YERCAUD

“Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the ability to handle conflict through peaceful means,” as articulated by Ronald Reagan. The concept of peace resonates profoundly throughout every corner of India, particularly in the face of the injustices faced by a community in Manipur. Under the theme of ‘Let Peace Reign in Manipur,’ a resounding call for tranquility echoed during a rally in Yercaud.

The essence of this peaceful rally was to extend a message of hope, aiming to envelop our fellow brethren in Manipur with a blanket of serenity. A unity of purpose brought together approximately 300 individuals, each committed to the cause of peace. Among the participants were dedicated members of the SPS India Foundation from the Retreat Don Bosco, who stood in solidarity with those experiencing hardship.

In line with the sentiments of Albert Einstein, our rally served as a powerful reminder that “Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.” This sentiment was echoed through our peaceful gathering, which sought to bridge the gap through comprehension and empathy rather than coercion.
