Medical Camp @ Madhur, Yercaud

A special medical camp was organized by the SPS India Foundation and the Desai Foundation Trust on 02nd March 2025 at Chinnamathur Village in Yercaud with the help of Vazhavanthi Primary Health Centre and Salem Government Hospital. The camp was inaugurated by the village head of Chinnamadhur. Doctors of Salem Government Hospital and Vazhavanthi Primary Health Centre staff. The Retreat, Thon Bosco Illa Priests, Desai Foundation Trust Volunteers, and Chinnamathur youngsters Conducted in the presence of This medical camp included specialties like general medicine, ophthalmology, paediatrics and obstetrics, genetic defect testing, etc. The arrangements for the camp were well made by the director of Vazhavanthi Primary Health Centre, Dr. Thomson, and health inspector Suresh Chinnamadhur, along with the villagers. People from Mara Mangalam, Arangam, Senthittu, and Northanchedu villages also came in large numbers and participated in this medical camp. All the people were treated, and medicines prescribed by the doctors were provided free of cost. Also, medical equipment, including an identity card, was provided.
