Experience of the intern at SPS

My experience

During my 20-day internship at SPS, I had the incredible opportunity to work on the “Educate a student” project and Sola Illam, under the guidance of Fr. Selvakumar. It was a truly enriching experience, as I was given a great deal of freedom and autonomy to contribute to these meaningful initiatives. Fr. Selvakumar proved to be an exceptional mentor, always available to provide guidance, support, and valuable insights.

Working on the “Educate a Student” project allowed me to witness the transformative power of education first-hand. I was involved in various aspects of the project, such as collecting the details of students and studying their financial situation. It was inspiring to witness the positive impact we were making in the lives of underprivileged students, and I felt a sense of fulfilment knowing that I was part of something larger than myself.

Similarly, my involvement in Sola Illam, a program aimed at providing shelter and support to Poor children, was an eye-opening experience. I had the opportunity to actively engage with individuals in need, assisting in their daily routines and providing emotional support. The guidance of Fr. Selva Kumar was instrumental in navigating the challenges of this work, and his constant encouragement fostered an environment of compassion and understanding.

Overall, my internship at SPS was a truly rewarding experience, thanks to the freedom I had to contribute to important projects like “Educate a Student” and Sola Illam, and the unwavering support provided by Fr. Selvakumar. I leave this internship with a deepened understanding of the power of education and the importance of social initiatives, as well as a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
