ADVANCE SEWING TRAINING @ KALAVASAL, VIRUDHUNAGAR

SPS INDIA FOUNDATION and its partner DFT has been running a basic sewing training for the people of Kalavasal and the surrounding villages in Virudhanagar district with the support of PWC. After having a successful year of basic training, we have started advance sewing training for the beneficiaries who have had basic training along with basic training for the new beneficiaries. This project empowers the local women and makes them to sustain their families. We have a plan to reach out to more than 150 women directly and more than 1000 people indirectly through this project. The advance and Basic training was inauguarated on 18^th of December 2022. We also had the visit of PWC members on 12^th of January 2023. They appreciated the salesians for running the project efficiently.
